Fall is nearly here! While there’s still time to relish in the final hot days and languid spirit of the summer, now is also an opportunity to start looking ahead to the crisp autumn months. To that end, there’s no time like now to begin sartorially prepping and re-upping on fall jackets, so when the chilly temperatures inevitably arise, you’re well equipped.

This season, there are many fall jackets from which to choose. Consider a blazer cool enough for summer’s end and warm enough come fall. Or, opt for a tried-and-true trench coat that can be thrown over any outfit for some elevated polish. Alternatively, a statement fleece or oversized shacket will bring an air of slickness to any look.

There’s nothing quite like a trench coat in transitional weather. Lightweight yet warm, modern yet classic, the trench coat will offer the right amount of insulation and instantly elevate any outfit— yes, even leisurewear.

Fanciful Fleeces

This year, a statement fleece is the unexpected (yet welcomed!) fall jacket to add to your wardrobe. Designers like Loewe and Stella McCartney have elevated the otherwise utilitarian outerwear option with lively prints.

Better-Than-Basic Blazers

Having a blazer on hand to throw over an outfit is the easiest fall jacket solution.
