Unless you’re Adriana Lima, that is, in which case you can have both at the same time. In fact, she may have found fall’s most controversial shoe choice all together: Sky-high stilettos fusing a bootie and a flip flop.

Styled by Erin Walsh, Lima wore a LOL cropped tank top and Stella McCartney pants in her Instagram post on Sunday—but it was her Givenchy shoes that stole the show. The Frankenstein-like shoe strangely works. Ugly-chic footwear is on the rise in general, haven’t you heard? Victoria Beckham has also worn a similar pair in the past, so it seems celebrities are officially on board. The question is, are you brave enough to rock them, or are they so outré that only a supermodel can pull them off? We say go for it.
