Celebrity-Approved Swimwear To Try This Summer (British VOGUE)

hihm
From bikini mirror selfies to wanderlust holiday photos, A-listers are providing plenty of swimwear inspiration this summer. Paloma Elsesser and Rihanna, for example, are fans of disco-ready swim sets from Oséree. They’ve worn the brand’s sparkling lumière pieces in sequined hot pink and embellished black, respectively. Frankies Bikinis is also fast becoming a favourite of the LA set: Hailey Bieber and Gizele Oliveira have snapped up candy-coloured styles, while Gigi Hadid collaborated with the brand on a swimwear capsule that she and sister Bella are bound to wear all season. Elsewhere, Irina Shayk and Imaan Hammam have been sporting wearing flattering bikinis by Tropic of C – the swimwear line designed by fellow model Candice Swanepoel. Below, Vogue rounds up 20 chic swimwear styles that have the...

Here’s How To Style A Tank Top For Summer 2022 (British VOGUE)

fufled
Ask any fashion editor which single item of clothing they couldn’t live without, and chances are they will name-check a basic: a white T-shirt, the perfect pair of jeans, a cashmere jumper. Well, if team Vogue’s summer work outfits are anything to go by, the humble tank top is the latest foundational piece to earn a spot in the fashion hall of fame. The tank top made a number of appearances on designer runways this year: paired with slouchy jeans at Bottega Veneta, elevated with leather trousers at Chloé and given a Noughties spin with a midi skirt at Miu Miu. The designer logo tank top has also been gaining traction, with both Prada and Loewe embellishing the wardrobe basic with their iconic insignia. Loewe’s has...

JIJ
The only thing that shined brighter than the Venice Beach sign on Thursday night? The runway built for the Dior Men resort 2023 show, featuring a capsule between Kim Jones and designer Eli Russell Linnetz of ERL. Under the California sky and neon palm trees, the collection merged French flair and California coolness with daintily embroidered basketball shorts, pastel pantsuits, logo-embossed sneakers, and blinged-out Saddle bags. L.A.- based photographer Emily Malan was backstage at the show and got up close with all goodies. Scroll through for the best shots from the night here. 18 Stylish Skirts to Wear This Summer (W Magazine)

ftf
Ever since Miu Miu sent a parade of pleated micro minis down the runway—and the likes of Hunter Schafer and Saweetie have been seen wearing them—we’ve been looking at skirts with fresh eyes. And after a long winter of cozy ensembles, the idea of pulling on something airy, easy and leg-baring feels just right. This season’s best styles range from short and sweet (see: mod numbers from Prada and Courrèges and a festive floral piece from Marni) to full-length dazzlers, like Proenza Schouler’s swishy fringe and The Row’s white cotton poplin midi. With months of sunny days—and summer vacations—ahead, check out our picks for the chicest skirts of the moment. . Tank Dresses Are Going To Be Everywhere This Summer (British VOGUE)

gggg
This summer’s key dress shape is simple. First seen at the spring/summer 2022 shows, the tank dress is a classic silhouette that everyone can get on board with this season. Call it a crowd pleaser. Jonathan Anderson got behind the silhouette at Loewe, where he presented dresses with the same scooped neckline as a classic tank top (which is big news for next season). Anderson’s upbeat takes, however, were a far cry from the humble wardrobe basic. The fourth look in the spring/summer 2022 collection, a colourful form-fitting number coined the Blur Dress, swiftly became a cult buy that was snapped up by Kendall Jenner before selling out. Looks that followed experimented with the same shape, but warped with gilded breastplates and other sculptural...

Just Jouez! Jacquemus Links With Nike On Sensual Sportswear (British VOGUE)

gyg
Simon Porte Jacquemus’s shows in Hawaii, Provence, and Paris have included sport-centric pieces like scuba gear, hiking boots, and swimwear, but when his models walk the Paris runways in late June, they will be playing a whole new game, so to speak: Nearly three years in the making, Jacquemus’s debut collaboration with Nike marries the designer’s love of the outdoors and his body-conscious aesthetic with Nike’s expertise in making some of the most technically advanced activewear in the world. “Sport was always super important in the Jacquemus DNA,” says Jacquemus from his Paris office, noting that his 2014 and 2015 collections were grounded by sneakers. “But as Jacquemus grew, the Jacquemus girl changed – she got heels!” he continues, with a laugh. Still,...

Get Carried Away: The Best Summer Bags To Buy Now (British VOGUE)

hihi
It’s that time of year when we start to rotate our seasonal wardrobes: knitted dresses are replaced with airy frocks and heavy boots make way for lighter soles, thermals ditched for bikinis and woolly hats for sunglasses. Bags might not seem like an obvious choice for a summer refresh (aside from a good old holiday suitcase), but sunnier days allow for more delicate materials like suede, crochet and raffia, alongside feel-good pops of colour, to be introduced into our accessories arsenal. For the ultimate crop of summer bags, keep scrolling. . Summer nights Going “out-out” in summer is a lot more straightforward than in the cold months. Leaving your coat at home can only mean one thing: less is more. The only time that this formula falters? When it comes to rhinestones and sequins. Rosantica Crystal-Embellished...

Tara Hakin Is The Visionary Designer Making Avant-Garde Pieces For Julia Fox And Kourtney Kardashian (British VOGUE)

hiij
“I reached out to Julia Fox’s team to set up a meeting about creating a look for her,” says Northern Irish designer Tara Hakin of the nail polish-themed outfit she made for the Uncut Gems actor last month. “It’s the first time I’ve ever done that – how she taps into contemporary pop culture is super interesting. Courtesy of Tara Hakin Long before Hakin was dressing the most feverishly watched fashion plates in the world in her figure-hugging tactile garments – Paloma Elsesser, Jorja Smith, Iris Law and Kourtney Kardashian are just a few of the famous faces who have been spied wearing items from her eponymous line this year – the 26-year-old Brighton University graduate knew her craftsmanship and perseverance would steer her in the right direction. “My drive and desire to design...

Doja Cat Gets Surreal in Schiaparelli at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards (W Magazine)

jiji
The red carpet has been regularly getting a bit surreal since Daniel Roseberry debuted Schiaparelli’s otherworldly spring 2022 couture collection. It’s become a favorite among the most daring of celebs in the months following the maison’s Paris Fashion Week showing earlier this year. For proof of that, look no further than Doja Cat on Sunday night to the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. The 26-year-old rapper stole the show in a sculptural velvet corset worn atop a black floor-length skirt just short enough to offer a glimpse at her shoes, which were painted gold and shaped like actual feet. Whereas the model Rachel Marx had her nipples on full display when Roseberry debuted the collection this past January during Paris Haute Couture Week, Doja kept...

The Sauciest Jeans Come From This Ukrainian Designer (VOGUE)

gyg
Photo: Courtesy of Masha Popova Photo: Courtesy of Masha Popova Last summer, Dua Lipa posed on a balcony wearing the Gen-Z top seen around the world. The piece was incredibly complex, with the bodice consisting of two hand-dyed and embroidered butterflies in a kaleidoscope of sweet blues, yellows, and purples. The look was created by Masha Popova, a graduate of Central Saint Martins who solidified her place in the industry not only with her buzzy–and Instagram-worthy—butterfly creations, but also her technique-driven denim. Along with Lipa, Kylie Jenner and Bella Hadid have also worn Popova’s designs. Popova first studied architecture and later segued into fashion design and enrolled at Central Saint Martins. (The piece that Lipa wore was actually from Popova’s graduate collection.) “[Fashion] is much...
