These Spring 2025 Fashion Trends Are Totally Worth the Investment (Cosmopolitan)

Raimonda Kulikauskiene/Getty Images Warmer days are finally upon us (and honestly, they couldn't have come soon enough—if your winter was anything like mine me, it went extra spicy on the seasonal depression). Like, I don't know about you, but I'm ready to shove away all of my puffer coats and exchange them for lighter spring outfits that I won't have to hide under multiple layers of fabric. With the new season comes fresh new styles. Some of the most talented designers served up major spring 2025 fashion trend inspo on their runways this past fall, and I've taken it upon myself to narrow it down into five key trends that are set to take over. Ballet pink is on the rise, especially since spring is when pastels truly shine,...

DIOR BEAUTY HAS JUST GIFTED US A GILDED AND GLOWY SUMMER (V Magazine)

The Riviera is known for bestowing gold on its globetrotting boaters and bikini babes. Sun-kissed skin shines from the inside out, and the salt, air, and sea, (not to mention the nourishing Mediterranean diet) grant an unmatched glow. And if you can’t make it to the coast this year, don’t fret. Dior makeup is armed and ready with a summery pop coral and a punch of pink splash. Courtesy of Dior No, those are not the catchy titles of a new prebiotic soda or organic lemonade. Those are the latest luminous additions to the Dior makeup palette, and Deva Cassel stuns in both for the brand’s latest beauty campaign. The Italian actress, model, and daughter of Monica Belluci shows off the new...

DREAMSICK FOR D’HEYGERE X I’M SORRY BY PETRA COLLINS (V Magazine)

Petra Collins may have dubbed her dream-like brand ‘I’m Sorry,’ but the conceptual art and fashion label is fiendishly unapologetic, and its latest collaboration with accessories brand D’heygere, founded by the Belgian born designer, Stephanie D’heygere, is so wistful, so explorative, so girlhood. V are obsessed. Courtesy of D’heygere x I’m Sorry  For D’heygere, fashion is playful. For Petra it’s powerful. For both, it’s a form of self-expression as much as it is exploration (of the self, that is). The collection, an eclectic mix of life-like jewelry pieces, is inspired by the themes of girlhood — exploring the teenaged past in the much more seasoned present. Petra’s childhood was marked with discovery. Courtesy of D’heygere x I’m Sorry When the Canadian photographer, director, and visual artist discovered...

Rihanna Doubles Down on Flared Jeans and Snakeskin (W Magazine)

ShotbyNYP / BACKGRID You have to be a real fashion nerd with the closet to match to casually mix a little Tom Ford Gucci with a bit of Hedi Slimane-era Celine. In fact, you may just have to be Rihanna. Everyone’s favorite makeup mogul stepped out last night wearing a Ford-era Gucci bag with a pair of Celine’s Kendrick Lamar-approved flared jeans. Rihanna slipped into her Celine “Marco” jeans for a late-night dinner at her go-to L.A. eatery, Giorgio Baldi. They featured a faded, light wash and, of course, a bell-shaped silhouette that nearly went past her snakeskin print heels from Amina Muaddi. On her shoulder, Rihanna carried one of Ford’s vintage shoulder bags in a pistachio snake pattern. It debuted on...

Dua Lipa’s Stage Style Is Red Hot (W Magazine)

@dualipa Dua Lipa is ready to return to the golden age of over-the-top lingerie, and not just for the boudoir. Currently on the Oceania leg of her Radical Optimism tour, Dua hit the stage in Auckland, New Zealand, last night in a look the lingerie world really hasn’t seen much of since the 1980s. Yet, thanks to some creative subversion, her look isn’t nearly as revealing as it may first seem. Dua’s Balenciaga fit, which she recycled from the first leg of her world tour, consisted of a sheer and embroidered negligee, long fishnet stockings, and a giant faux fur chinchilla coat. It’s pure vintage va-va-voom, yet Lipa isn’t nearly as exposed as she may seem. It’s a custom rework of a look Balenciaga...

WANT IN ON THE BALLET SNEAKER TREND? HERE ARE 13 TO TRY NOW (NYLON)

We may receive a portion of sales if you purchase a product through a link in this article. When I was shopping this weekend, I noticed all the sneakers in the stores I hopped into were, for lack of a better word, deflated. They were mere suggestions of shoes, with incredibly thin soles and zero support. They also all had straps across them, around them, looking more and more like ballet shoes than regular lace-ups worn to the gym. The fashion pendulum has swung away from chunky sneakers (which we’ve documented before) but they’re hybridizing into a ballerina sneaker mix we also first saw on the runway at Miu Miu (where else?), then again in November from Onitsuka Tiger’s Patou collab, and now, we officially cannot ignore...

In fashion, we tend to focus on different styles every season, but the trendiest clothing brands can also shape the scene big time. Whether a brand is known for a niche aesthetic or a wardrobe staple that transcends subcultures, there are certain brands you just can’t miss, even without a noticeable logo. These days, familiarizing yourself with the trendiest clothing brands is easier than ever. Sure, you’ll still spot someone ultra stylish wearing them on the street or drive by a storefront. But now, you can also see people from all walks of life talking about how much they love a brand on social media. You can buy second-hand and vintage clothing from someone on the other side of the country or even the world. The cycle moves faster and has a...

Chanel Ties Paris Fashion Week Up With a Bow (ELLE)

LAUNCHMETRICS SPOTLIGHT Long before the “bow girl,” in all her coquettecore glory, became a fashion archetype, there was Chanel. This morning at Paris Fashion Week, the French house wrapped the Grand Palais in a massive black ribbon to celebrate one of its most beloved motifs. (One which dates back to the braid that was embroidered on many of Gabrielle Chanel’s early creations.) Carlo Scarpato//LAUNCHMETRICS SPOTLIGHT The installation was designed by Willo Perron, and the ribbon inspiration extended to the collection, created by the in-house Creation Studio (incoming artistic director Matthieu Blazy will present his first show in October). With Tyla, Raye, and Camila Cabello looking on, the show explored the many uses of the trope. Jacket collars and cuffs were decorated with bows, of both the real and trompe l’oeil variety....

EVERY OFF-DUTY OUTFIT DUA LIPA HAS WORN ON TOUR (NYLON)

Dua Lipa is back to her preferred routine: plane, concert, another plane, another country. She’s taking her third studio album, Radical Optimism, on the road, starting off in Australia and winding her way through Europe and North America come fall. Her stage looks are all custom, of course, including some fantastic Chanel, Balenciaga, and Jean Paul Gaultier, and while they’re all drool-worthy and fit her like a glove, we’re taking the microscope to her day ‘fits. The Chanel 25 handbag ambassador has rarely been spotted without the cargo-style purse these days, and when she’s not performing, she’s pulling fresh-off-the-runway looks from Fall/Winter 2025 to eat at local haunts, party at dive bars, and pull up to her merch pop-ups in Melbourne and Sydney. By our count, she’s already worn three outfits that hit...

Doechii and Tyla Teach Two Different Lessons In Sheer Dressing (W Magazine)

Gilbert Flores/Billboard/Getty Images According to Doechii and Tyla, there’s no one way to wear a naked dress. The Grammy winners hit the red carpet over the weekend in sheer looks that approached the art of transparent dressing quite differently. While Doechii went the vintage route for her dress (with a Carrie Bradshaw-approved accessory to match), Tyla stayed current in a see-through number straight from the most recent Paris runways. Doechii slipped into a vintage Donna Karan piece from fall 2014 to attend the Billboard Women in Music event. A daring hip-high slit was balanced by a touch of modesty thanks to the velour paneling throughout the bodice and skirt. Sheer dresses might seem like a fairly new phenomenon on the step and repeat,...
