Lady Gaga(@ladygaga)님의 공유 게시물님, 2017 12월 10 오후 9:17 PST

When you’re Lady Gaga everything you do has a fashion component. The pop superstar has always used clothing to express herself so it’s only natural that when she gets into the spirit of the Christmas season, it involves a dramatic outfit or two. Taking to Instagram this afternoon to wish her fans happy holidays, she unveiled her latest look, an elfin makeover complete with pointy ears and candy-striped stockings. Nodding to the North Pole with head-to-toe glamour, Gaga merged costume-y extravagance —who else could make a wintergreen velvet corset look chic?—with pieces even minimalists could...

How Many Bottles Of Wine Does Your Dinner Party Need? Do the (Easy!) Math

Most people would say that the dinner is the most important part of a dinner party, but I would argue it’s having enough wine. You can pull a Tim Allen and turn a turkey into a wildfire, and no one will care if there are plenty of bottles to go around. Wine starts conversations, complements dishes (you didn’t burn), and keeps the party going. But how many bottles of wine are “enough wine”? To start, you need to know how many glasses are in a bottle of wine. This seems obvious, but considering we’ve all had nights where a whole bottle of wine equals two very large mason jars of Cab Franc while hate-watching Love Actually, it’s important to break it down. A bottle of wine is...

These Boots Were Made For Walking (and Dancing) Through Party Season

Holiday season is nearly upon us. Bring on the whirlwind of vivid prints, sparkling sequins, and all-around festive cocktail attire! As for the footnote: In an unlikely turn of events, we’re welcoming the reimagined ankle boot into the merry mix. Sure, it’s not the first time boots have worked the party circuit—we’ve had our share of sky- and thigh-high boots creeping up on the catwalk as of late—but this season’s quirky, eclectic iterations with unrivaled aesthetics are more than ready to hit the dance floor while making a modern evening statement. Balenciaga’s space-age silver booties, which come pointed and peaked mid-shin, perfectly offset a proper off-the-shoulder velvet dress, while Manolo Blahnik’s silk and satin stilettos draw the eye downward with a hint...

Seven Christmas Markets In Europe

From Prague to Rome, via Copenhagen, Europe's biggest capitals go all-out each year for their popular Christmas markets. Head to one of the best this winter, to pick up a treat and keep you feeling festive all month long.

The Prague Christmas Market Every year, the Prague Christmas market sets up shop in the magnificent main square in the Old Town. Gathered at the feet of a giant, twinkling Christmas tree, the stalls let Czech handicrafts shine, offering a variety of wooden puppets, handmade jewelry and the regional specialty vánocvka, a kind of braided brioche with raisins. However, it's the procession of Saint Nicholas - accompanied by an angel and a devil - that really draws in the crowds, as...

This Cheese-Filled Pumpkin Is Fondue x1000

Once the temperature dips below 40 degrees and a significant layer of red-gold leaves litter the ground, the texts from my friends trickle in. "Cheese pumpkin?!" one writes. "Hey, it's been a while. Let's get together!" says another. "Remember that cheese pumpkin you made that one time? Could you send me the recipe?" writes a friend who lives in Atlanta. Like Linus in the Peanuts comic strip, the mere mention of this great pumpkin, a whole roasted, burnished gourd filled to the brim with bubbly cheese and broth-cream soaked bread, inspires frenzied delight. My friends wait for it every year. For one, the thing is super impressive looking. Who else has dared to roast an entire pumpkin this month? I’d venture to say very few....
