For her first campaign outing at the helm of Givenchy, Clare Waight Keller has enlisted the formidable duo of creative director Christopher Simmonds and photographer Steven Meisel to help her traverse a new path for the house. In the black and white short film accompanying the campaign, that path is forged through an upstate New York mansion filled with mirrors for self reflection, stray cats, and a rock-n-roller cast straight out of 80’s thriller, The Hunger. “I wanted the models’ attitude to be engaging so I asked them to just be themselves, as they might if they were invited to a party at a friend’s home,” explains Keller. “I think that they really capture the spirit of a generation that loves fashion, but most of all...
