Fashion has always been a family affair for Victoria Beckham, and over the weekend in London, she took Harper, the youngest of her children, on a shopping trip. The duo were spotted wearing ’70s-inspired shades—Victoria in cantaloupe orange, Harper in watermelon pink—a subtle take on mother-daughter twinning. Harper is already something of a creative assistant to her mom and helped with the design of Victoria’s World AIDS Day T-shirt. In her biker boots and ruffled frock, she certainly dressed the part.
Mrs. Beckham looked just as cool in a chunky turtleneck, a cozy layer to combat the chilly weather. The bell-bottom pants added just the right amount of fashion to her outfit, while lo-fi shades, a Beckham signature, completed the off-duty aesthetic.
Victoria Beckham was feeling in a languid mood with the unveiling of her brand’s spring-summer 2017 collection. The designer sent out a selection of swishing dresses and relaxed separates in crushed velvet and silk. Each pajama styled look was paired with a sneaker and boot combination in canvas and leather. For prints, Beckham showcased vintage florals as well as draped dresses and large tote bags. And for those who want to show more skin, the designer offers bralettes combined with skirts or trousers.
Victoria Beckham's very first modeling shoot is probably not as glamorous as you'd expect. The designer's first gig was a series of images for London Academy of Health and Beauty School. Victoria portrayed a student in a simple white shirt dress and lounged on a dorm bed in an oversize blazer, her wavy hair left unstyled. Of course, it'd be unfair to say Ms. Beckham ever had an awkward stage — she looks totally gorgeous in the black-and-white images, after all. Read on to get a better look at the throwback pics that prove Victoria's fashion roots run deep.
