1200x600 (1)

Canadian model Janice Alida is our kind of woman. She went from working at Starbucks in Canada to the working the Céline runway. We caught up with the Canadian cutie to find out how she got started, her secret celebrity crush and what TV she binge watches.

How were you discovered? I sort of discovered myself. I was working at Starbucks at the time. I googled modeling agency, and Lizbell Agency was the first one that came up. I met with Liz the next day, and she signed me and had me meet with international scouts. So I moved to Paris and went after the career. Starbucks Just Released a New Instagram-Worthy Latte

But it's only available in the U.K.

Starbucks just introduced a very pretty latte that you'll probably want to Instagram while wearing a knit sweater and rocking fall nail polish. No, it's not a PSL (not yet, anyway). It's a turmeric latte that's made by steaming milk with golden powder and other spices which then gets poured over espresso.

Turmeric is a bright yellow spice that's become fairly trendy and has been used to create viral drinks like rainbow lattes. Fun stuff, sadly the turmeric latte is only available in the U.K.

Pretty, right? Makes you want to Insta the shit out of it? Yes, well, Starbucks knew exactly what they were doing with that. In a press release the coffee chain...

A Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino Is Actually Happening

The Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino has officially arrived in stores. (Don't ask us what flavor that means, though, unless you count pink as a flavor, in which case, pink). The #unicornfrappuccino hashtag on Instagram now wields about 650 posts, though it looks like only some stores have it now, while others might offer them later this week, for a very limited time. Click the hashtag for more photos of the Lisa Frankian beverage, and then head to your local Starbucks to try it (and Instagram it) for yourself.

Finally, Starbucks Reveals 2016 Holiday Cups

Nothing says holiday season is here like Starbucks' red cups. The special edition holiday cups are such an essential part of the most magical time of the year that, this year, people started talking about them even before Halloween. That was in part because Starbucks released a green cup, presented as a "symbol of unity," that many mistook as their holiday cup. Sarcastic outrage over the cup turned into actual outrage, which eventually led to someone leaking a picture of Starbucks' alleged holiday cup on Reddit. No one takes holiday cups more seriously than Starbucks fans. Now, though, everyone can relax—and embrace the holiday spirit—because Starbucks has just revealed their holiday cup lineup for 2016.

Starbucks’s Spooky “Frappula” Frappuccino Will Get You in the Halloween Spirit

Because it’s never really a holiday season until Starbucks comes out with a themed drink (PSLs, we’re looking at you), the beverage giant just brought back its spookiest Frappuccino in time for Halloween.

The “Frappula” Frappuccino is made with "a layer of mocha sauce and a dollop of whipped cream" at the bottom of the drink (unheard of, we know). It’s then topped off with a blended mix of white chocolate mocha sauce, milk, and ice. A drizzle of strawberry puree provides the Frapp with a gory vibe and more whipped cream completes the drink.

Today In Bleak: Starbucks Just Raised Its Drink Prices

Some of your favorite Starbucks beverages just got more expensive. The company announced on Tuesday that it made a “small price adjustment” in most U.S. stores. The price increase isn’t huge—according a statement by Starbucks, “customers will experience increases of 10 to 20 cents on select sizes of brewed coffee, and 10 to 30 cents on espresso beverages and tea lattes”—but if you’ve got a regular ‘Bucks habit, that change can add up. The good news is that, according to the company, 65 percent of their beverage prices remained the same, and they expect the average customer’s spending in the store to increase by just one percent. The even better news is that those price increases seem to be going to good use, because the company plans...
