Model and activist Adwoa Aboah has just been named the newest face of Marc Jacobs Beauty for 2018. Aboah will join the ranks of fellow Marc Jacobs Beauty ambassadors like Kaia Gerber, Winona Ryder, and Edie Campbell.
Jacobs and Aboah have a history and this is not the first time Marc Jacobs and Aboah have worked together. “Marc gave me my first fashion show in New York City,” said Aboah. “It was a dream come true and from that point on, he has been one of my biggest supporters.”
You can see the first images of the 2018 campaign photographed by David Sims below, with the rest of the images debuting in-store and on all Marc Jacobs media platforms beginning in late 2017.

The Exact Lip Gloss And Nail Polish SElena Gomez Wears In The Fetish Video

s

Selena Gomez's "Fetish" music video teaser is here—and we've never wanted to wear lip gloss so badly. The actress and singer's go-to makeup artist Hung Vanngo and manicurist Tom Bachik took to Instagram to spill the details on the exact products they used.

Wow, so excited that FETISH just came out today and is already topping the charts! So proud of you @selenagomez. ❤️❤️ So many people have been asking about Selena's makeup, and the official video isn't even out yet! 😛 So here you go! Basically it's almost no makeup, just a couple drops of Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter mixed with moisturizer. Her faux freckles are "(Earth)quake" Matte Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner, and she's wearing a soft peach Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer...

After Balenciaga And Marc Jacobs, Logo Nails Are Trending Again

landscape-1487350893-hbz-comp-2

As long as nail polish and designer logos have coexisted, women have been painting them on their nails. Still a staple of street culture, the trend has infiltrated the runways several times in recent years. But with the rise of athleisure in fashion, and as our preference for nail art has shifted toward the clean and graphic, logo nails have begun popping up once again in designer collections—and on the well-manicured tips of some of our favorite celebrities. It's an inexpensive and artful way to display your love for your favorite brands—even if it may not be totally legal. But isn't that half the fun?

Marc Jacobs Fall 2017: The Beauty Was in the Details

marc-fw17-nw-8
The Marc Jacobs fall 2017 show was decidedly different from previous seasons. There were no elaborate sets. No surprise guest. No glitter, grease, or false lashes. In fact, the makeup being used backstage were items you'd find in the average person's makeup bag: black and brown eyeliner, concealer, a red lipstick, and a highlighter stick. That's all because the inspiration for Marc Jacobs' fall show was real people, or to be more exact, the Netflix documentary, "Hip-Hop Evolution," a four-part series that "chronicles the poignant and pivotal cultural movement that reshaped and redefined the landscape of music, which gave way to a whole new language of style," according to the show notes. "He really wanted to celebrate the street culture...

The Newest Face Of Marc Jacobs Beauty Is Only 15 Years Old

20

At 15, I'm pretty sure my chief concerns revolved around whether I got a lead in the school musical, passing geometry, and that boy who may or may not have looked in my general direction in the hallway between classes. But Kaia Gerber is not your average ninth-grader: Aside from calling Cindy Crawford "mum" and counting Kendall Jenner among her best friends, the 15-year-old isn't just surrounded by supermodels—she's on the fast track to becoming one herself. Case in point: Gerber just scored a major new gig as the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
