Both Hadid sisters are noted fans of clip-in bangs—but there was something about Bella Hadid's look at last night's CFDA Awards that took her hair to another level. Maybe it was the retro vibe of it all. After all, Scarface hair is one of the most covetedhairstyles of all time. Or maybe it was just that it felt decidedly fresh and different; the rounded bob was the cherry on top of a perfectly executed '90s look by Virgil Abloh and Off-White.

We've got nothing against beach waves. The beloved, tousled texture is a summer hairstyle staple, but sometimes it's nice to mix things up. Plus, there's the fact that not everyone can get beachy waves without some major styling. We all deserve to look cute and effortless at the beach, regardless of our texture, which is why we asked hairstylist Adam Bogucki, owner of Lumination Salon in Chicago, to share seven fresh ideas for the perfect seaside style.
There are all sorts of hair trends that we would've never thought of until some hair genius or another brought them into our lives. For example, the mother-of-pearl hair trend — that's not exactly something that occurs naturally (or, at least not when it comes to hair). Other times, a trend has been around forever but only really takes off when Instagram finds a cute name for it. That's what's happening with the "octopus bun," which is really just another name for a specific type of messy bun. Take note.
Just when you thought we’d reached peak unicorn, mermaid, iridescent, rainbow whatever, we’ve had to make an exception for this summer hair trend: to dye for seashell shades of pearlescent hair.
Celebrity hairstylist Kevin Murphy is behind this under-the-sea colourful hair hue which comes in shiny shades of rainbow hues, silver blondes, pearly sheens – whatever you like.

If short hair had a Tinder bio, it would read "Easy (LOL)." Then, after you got to know SH, you would find that there wasn't much else going on. But whereas people hardly ever do, hair—even a bob—can change, sometimes with nothing more than a few pins. Ahead, 12 updo ideas for our friends with lobs and chops because en brosse doesn't have to mean boxed-in.
Lucy Hale's Braided Fauxhawk
Okay, technically a tiny pony, but nobody could ever accuse this one of being boring—not with that raised, braided section running down the back of her head.
There’s no shortage of ways to braid your hair — we can think of at least 100 off the top of our heads. There’s one style in particular that seems to be blowing up our Instagram feeds as of late, however: corset braids.
Whatever your natural hair, this season is about amplifying your individuality. Big, curly, straight or messy.
If it’s natural hair you’re chasing, it’s all about the serums. Try ORIBE Split End Seal serum, DAVID MALLETT Hair serum, JOSIE MARAN COSMETICS Argan Oil Hair serum or SACHAJUAN Shine serum.
Forget spring—we've got fringe fever.
The to-chop-or-not-to-chop temptation is more real than ever before considering that bangs, in every shape, size, and texture, are skimming the lashes of every It girl in site. Here, find an assortment of face-framing bang statements that will ooze cool through summer.
1 BIRKIN BANGS
January Jones(@januaryjones)님의 공유 게시물님, 2017 3월 6 오후 8:46 PST
To this day, Jane Birkin's fringe is iconic. So it's no wonder that the gap-tooth beauty inspired January Jones' newly-minted, '70s-inspired bangs. You can opt for a straight along cut or add a shagged arch, the key is making sure they're soft and left to separate on their own. Francophiles, this one's for you.
2 CURLY BANGS
