MG_4625

Central Saint Martin’s graduate, Faustine Steinmetz wins the 2017 Swarovski Collective Award.  Not only was the designer awarded a cash prize of €25,000, she will have year-long access to the Austrian brand’s crystal collection to incorporate into her next two collections.  We’re excited to see what’s next for Steinmetz; her promise seems as bright as the gems she’s been awarded.

Check out some backstage images of the Faustine Steinmetz’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection below

Behold the Best Cosplay Looks from the Cherry Blossom Festival

STEPHANIE KEITH/GETTY

Springtime is upon us—the weather is warm, the cherry blossoms are out, and so are the cosplayers!

Each year, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden hosts its Sakura Matsuri festivities, in which the garden's many cherry blossoms are on display in all their glory. But equally impressive are the cosplayer guests who alight on the garden to take in the spectacle and create one of their own. (For the uninitiated, cosplay is defined as "the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, especially one from the Japanese genres of manga and anime.")

Scroll through to see some of the best looks from this weekend!

Victoria Beckham Awarded An Obe by Prince William

untitled-article-1492613338
In an act of solidarity with those hoping to make the notoriously difficult transition from pop music to high fashion, Buckingham Palace has recognised and awarded the inimitable VB's positive impact upon the industry. Accepting the award earlier today from heir to the throne and one time FaceTimer of Lady Gaga, Prince William, Victoria said "It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today. I'm proud to be British, honoured and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge. If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things." Indeed, cracking the notoriously traditional and heirarchical British fashion industry is no mean feat. Introducing her first collection in 2008 at New York Fashion Week spring/summer 09,...

As the host of Worst Cooks in America, Anne Burrell has seen it all when it comes to kitchen catastrophes. But while her show may focus on contestants presenting her with some less-than-stellar meals, Burrell has a few tips for anyone trying to step up their recipe game at home—and it all starts with one simple rule. “You have to taste your food as you're cooking,” Burrell told InStyle during the New York City Wine and Food Festival this weekend. “Food should taste good, and if it doesn’t, then something is wrong and you need to fix it. I’m always for the low-tech solution, and if your method is just hoping it comes out all right, then it probably won’t.” Burell’s...

The 14 BRIT Awards outfits EVERYONE’S talking about

14

The BRIT Awards aren't known for their style kudos. Like the GRAMMYS, its bigger, bolder US counterpart, the BRITs is about making a statement, having fun and, well, brilliantly naff.

This is the award show that welcomed Lady Gaga dressed as a giant napkin; the ceremony that Geri Halliwell where first wore her infamous Union Jack dress and where Eminem accessorised his on-stage outfit with an aggressive chainsaw.

Didn’t have time to sit through the three-hour-long broadcast of the 67th annual Emmy Awards? Not to worry: we’ve got you covered. Relive the most outrageous moments from the 2015 Emmys with the GIFs below, from Jon Hamm slithering onstage to accept his first Emmy for his role on Mad Men to Andy Sambergmotor-boating an Emmy statue.   Andy Samberg, master of physical comedy: “Here’s my impression of the last season of Girls.”   Ricky Gervais should probably get an Emmy for his performance of fake-winning an Emmy.   Tatiana Maslany and Tony Hale fought over a can of beans on the red carpet—and it was riveting.   “Thanks to everyone who has helped me—the girl who gave me this sort of smoky eye. I love it.” Girl,...
