languid sportswear shapes for resort, many of which technically qualified as daywear
but offered fresh ideas when considered for evening. For example, a pale pink tank dress
in fluid crepe; a top with an asymmetric hem worn over pants; and a number of excellent
jumpsuits that were spare in front with sexy, sporty cutout backs.
“It has the logic of a good dress,” said Rodriguez of his jumpsuits.
“You put it on and it’s done.”
As a modernist, Rodriguez is prone to the pure and minimal, so the collection’s
