How Bazaar Editors Wear Kenzo x H&M

landscape-1477929686-hbz-kenzo-hm-00-index

While BAZAAR girls tend toward the idea that black is the new black when it comes to daily style, sometimes all it takes is a hit of color and print to nudge us out of our comfort zones. Enter: Kenzo's collaboration with H&M. There are zebra prints and tiger faces, patch work details and something we're calling a "kibomber." See how four editors style the collection for themselves before it hits hm.com and H&M stores on November 3—and see the full Jean Paul Goude-shot lookbook.

6 Cuddly Shearling Coats Worth Leaving Bed For

101016-shearing-coat-lead
In an ideal world, we'd hibernate from oh right about now until maybe mid-March. But since that's neither sustainable nor healthy (because jobs, food, social interaction, and everything else you need to function in life), the very least we can do is travel with a coat that's as cozy as our bed to make the gloomy commute somewhat bearable. Enter: Shearling outerwear. With its teddy bear-like texture, shearling jackets were basically invented to cuddle on the go. Or, at least, that's what we like to think. When combined with leather or wool and cut in cool-girl silhouettes, like moto or double-breasted styles, these coats make good on both insulation without the bulk (perfect for those who are not on board with the...

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

slow-cooker-chicken-cacciatore-013
This Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore is the latest in the series of healthy re-makes of the best classic comfort food recipes. Chicken Cacciatore is an Italian inspired dish that roughly translates to hunter-style chicken. When I was researching how to take-on this classic chicken recipe (and make it healthier and easy enough for a week-night) I discovered that Chicken Cacciatore has so many variations, nobody really agrees what it is exactly. Apparently it hails from Italy and the original dish was something hunters would have made out in the field (or woods) and therefore would be very simple. The chicken would be cut into parts and cooked with herbs and mushrooms. But here in the states I know it to have wine, tomatoes...

The Magnificent Impact of Alexander McQueen S/S99

359956
While Alexander McQueen moved many to tears with his extraordinary London shows – shows that included Bellmer La Poupee, Joan and The Overlook – he himself would regularly claim that he wasn’t sure what all the fuss was about. No. 13, he said, was "the only one that actually made me cry". It was staged, as all the collections of that period were, at Gatliff Warehouse, an unused former bus depot in Victoria, for the spring/summer 1999 season. There was no celebrity front row. Victoria Beckham famously asked to be invited to No. 13 and received a polite thanks but no thanks: her presence would detract from the main event. McQueen and his team worked too hard on their shows...

I Spent 30 Minutes In A Pile Of Salt To Try To Get Perfect Skin

salt-therapy-treatment-1
I love salt. Like, I love, love salt to the point where I’ll put it on just about anything—popcorn, margaritas, fruit, you name it (yes, my sodium levels are probably crazy high, but hey). I’m such a staunch salt supporter in the sweet or salty debate that I’d gladly swim in a pile of salt if given the chance. So when I heard about dry salt therapy, the beauty treatment that literally immerses you in a salt-filled room to give you perfect skin, I immediately volunteered to try it. The treatment basically involves you sitting in a climate-controlled room that has pink salt covering the ceiling, walls, and floors (think: a cave of salt), while a special machine pumps micro-salt particles...

How To Put Off Wearing Tights As Long As Possible But Not Die

landscape-1477594926-gettyimages-611913086-master

One ought to put health before vanity, but at the same time, like, no—this is my outfit. For those who dare defy the weather/those proverbial old wives tales, here, we present the four rules of going bare-legged until January. And then some. This goes without saying, but so did that bit about losing limbs, so here it is: You would be better off relinquishing the idea of wearing a mini without a denier count of at least 90. The most elegant solution, therefore, is to 1) put on more fabric to limit your skin's exposure to the elements (groundbreaking,...
