Meet The Man Behind Those Unofficial Off-White Condoms

@mikadololo
It’s official, fashion bootlegs aren’t going anywhere. While you might remember we coined 2016 the year of the bootleg, 2017 has seen it go one step further with meta bootlegged bootleg moments like Gucci’s homage to Dapper Dan and ‘Guccy’ sweatshirts to Ava Nirui’s Marc Jacobs collab. And just when you thought it was over with, it has re-emerged again. Unless you’ve been scrolling in the right place on Instagram, you probably will have missed some could-it-be-real-please-be-real items on @mikadololo’s account. Think Supreme x Louis Vuitton boxing gloves, ice lollies and even a hookah. Or the lesser known collaboration between Supreme and Dominos (sorry, fake news). The newest to join this group of fashion bootlegs is an Off-White-branded condom. Emblazoned with the brand’s logo and the word “SAFE” in the label’s signature double quote...

Your Model Of The Year Is Bella Hadid, But Fashion Doesn’t Feel The Same

1200x600 (1)

That's right, the time has once again come for Models.com to announce who we, that is 250 of the industry's top photographers, editors, makeup artists, stylists etc, believe best represents beauty in our society (along with the site's readers).

In what should surprise no one, Adwoa Aboah has taken out the top spot as fashion's most-coveted face of 2017 (followed closely by Italian angel Vittoria Ceretti), but the public had other ideas, placing Bella and Gigi Hadid in first and second place for model of the year. Naturally the Hadid's ubiquitous presence, both online and off, would make them a reader's fave, however other social media star and nominee Kendall Jenner somewhat surprisingly missed out.

PAPER cover star Jordan Barrett was declared both the industry and readers' choice...

hbz-adwoa-aboah-jurgen-teller-burberry-00-index-1513713987
Adwoa Aboah, the British Fashion Awards Model of the Year, collaborated with photographer Juergen Teller for a new series of photos for Burberry, commissioned by creative director Christopher Bailey. Though she's one of the biggest modeling stars of 2017, Aboah's work doesn't stop in front of the camera. The 25-year-old Brit worked with Teller on casting talent, finding a location, and choosing the aesthetic of the shoot. The result was a project literally close to home for the model, who chose to pose with her friends and family members along Regent's Canal in North London. Together, they sport some of key pieces with Burberry's signature plaid (with a slight neon upgrade) in the form of scarves, bags, trench coats, and more. Below are just the...

Not unlike the famous family of peacocks that also call her Coconut Grove neighborhood home, Gomez-Ortigoza cuts a colorful figure around town, often sporting the creations of fashion talents such as local Carolina K or Pompi García—both of whom adorn modern silhouettes with...

Jacquemus Shoots New Campaign On A Lanzarote Beach

Jacquemus SS18Photography David Luraschi

Exclusive: the French designer’s SS18 ‘La Bomba’ collection was inspired by his late mother

Although still relatively new, Parisian brand Jacquemus has now gotten to a point where you know generally what designer Simon Porte will deliver with his collections. They will be very French and most importantly, celebrate the simple joys of life – sun, sea and family. The designer’s SS18 collection – that was an ode to his late mother – was no different and unsurprisingly this vibe continues in the newly released campaign that debuts exclusively on Dazed. Photographed on a beach in Lanzarote (hence the black sand), the images were shot by frequent collaborator David Luraschi. In addition to the model who appears in the collection, Simon Porte also joined in on...
