Could Your Skinny Jeans Send You To The Hospital?

For most of us, skinny jeans are our tried-and-true friends. Remember when Carly Kuhn drew the Prada catwalk for ELLE.com? Turns out it was just a prelude. This Friday, Prada debuts Kuhn's first designer commission, a series of drawings to help launch their new eyewear collection. Called Prada Raw, the range remakes Prada's most popular frames in wood, and asks emerging artists?including Megan Hess, Blair Breitenstein, and Wong Ping?to sketch the results. The project comes on the heels of a New York Times story proclaiming a fashion art revival, with illustrators like Donald Robertson and Garance Dore doing sketches for major brands. Miuccia Prada has paired with fine artists before, enlisting James Jean to draw the label's famous Fairy Bags. But those who prefer more modern campaigns are still in the clear?Prada made a tiny...

Festival : White Nights in St. Petersburg, Russia

On the streets of St. Petersburg, Russia, during the White Night
When the sun barely sets ? as it does in St. Petersburg in the weeks before and after the summer solstice ? the Russian city holds its annual White Nights Festival. At cultural events, a summer fashion promenade and arty rooftop parties, individual style has a chance to shine. A little bit of everything: culottes, trenchcoats, maxidresses, shorts and more in stripes, polka dots, plaids and quite a few hard-to-miss prints.   written by wwd staff Source - http://wwd.com...

Trends to Retire in 2015

We, too, loved them dearly, until we realized we are neither 1) warriors, nor 2) princesses.
