Why Bella Hadid Rarely Smiles In Photos

Bella Hadid will admit that when posing for photos, she purposely avoided smiling for a long time—and not because of her mood. "I feel uncomfortable, sometimes, smiling in front of the camera," she told The Guardian. "It actually took me until probably this year to really understand my face."
But her serious red carpet photos don't really capture how approachable or cheerful she really is, she said. "People meet me sometimes and say: 'You're so different to what I expected.' People always tell me I seem mean or intimidating on social media. But I really love engaging with new people."

Hadid also touched on her social media presence—and how, like her sister Gigi Hadid, she's learned to be less open. "In the...

Pitch Perfect 3 Won’t Be The End Of The Barden Bellas, According To Anna Kendrick

Instagram+pitchperfectmovie+Universal Pictures

Pitch Perfect 3 might not be the end of the Barden Bellas, according to star Anna Kendrick.
Back in April, screenwriter Kay Cannon revealed that the upcoming threequel will be the "end of the Bellas as we know them" and that if there was a fourth movie, it would focus on a "new crop."
However, that doesn't sound like the case for Kendrick when EW asked her if there is going to be another encore for the Bellas: "Hell, yeah! We'd do them forever."

Anna believes bringing new blood onto Pitch Perfect 3 in the form of director Trish Sie helped keep series fresh. "She has such positive energy. She's this kind of crazy, lioness woman – a real force of nature," said Anna. And it sounds like Trish is...

Why Can’t We Just Have Normal Shirts Anymore?

What is very weird about fashion right now is that while some people still live in fear of being basic, those among us trying hardest to be cool do so by appropriating the instruments of basic-ness. This can be done by wearing T-shirts from heritage brands like the Gap and Fila, styled to simultaneously transcend their intrinsic historical blandness, because you have to be pretty cool to know about the urinal.

But at the same time, we have another, less labor-intensive way of demonstrating one's extra-ness: renouncing all shirts that don't come sheer, ruffled, printed, embroidered, cropped, ripped, pre-knotted, fringed, off-the-shoulder, underboob-baring, puff-sleeved, EXTREME VOLUMNIZED, with a soup-to-nuts backstory and standard third-row seating, animal-style, extra hot sauce, hold the pickles, please.

Alexis Ren Is The Most Famous Model You’ve Never Heard Of

How did 20-year-old model Alexis Ren amass over 10 million Instagram followers in under 500 posts? The California native rose to social media superstardom by sharing a mix of vaguely captioned bikini, bedroom, fitness, and food photos: Writhing on a beach, nestled in hotel linens, stretching sexily, posturing with desserts. Ren's adoring fans flood the comments section with praise and heart-eye emojis, and likes soar to hundreds of thousands. What you won't see on her feed are ads for gummy vitamins, diet tea, or waist trainers. "I just want this to be real. That's my whole thing," she tells me over the phone. "If you're an influencer and that moment is not real for you, then what's the point of it?" It's this...

Adidas Originals Drops Its First Campaign With Kendall Jenner

Today, Adidas dropped its latest Originals campaign starring none other than Kendall Jenner, who first announced her ambassadorship for the German sportswear giant with a Twitter post back in May.
It's Jenner's first major endorsement since her infamous Pepsi commercial was pulled in April, but there's nothing particularly new―or original―about casting an Insta-famous supermodel in athletic ads. It's a tried-and-true formula that's already been well exploited by other big brands. In 2017 alone we've witnessed: Gigi Hadid for Reebok, Bella Hadid for Nike, and Kylie Jenner (HBD!) for Puma. But at least with Kendall and Adidas, there's already a family connection with Kanye West's Yeezy collection for Adidas.

Remixed to a cover of Frank Sinatra's "My Way," the new Adidas Original video features Jenner incubating in what appears...

The cosmetics mogul gave what is easily the most candid and in-depth interview so far about her rapidly growing business.

Beauty industry execs, are you listening? Kylie Jenner isn't anywhere near done disrupting the cosmetics industry. The 19-year-old gave what is easily her most candid and in-depth interview so far to WWD about her rapidly exploding cosmetics empire, along with mother Kris Jenner (who is the chief financial officer of Kylie Cosmetics). The interview marked the first time that the specific monetary scale of the business has been disclosed publicly, with the Jenners reported a whopping $420 million in retail sales in just 18 months for the company, even providing supporting documentation to the publication. For scale, WWD compares that number to Tom Ford Beauty, which reportedly reached $500 million in revenue after a...

Bella Hadid Returns To Her Original Passion: Horseback Riding

Before her days of being an international supermodel, Bella Hadid's original passion was riding horses. The model even planned to compete in the 2016 Olympics, but was forced to give up her dream due to her battle with Lyme's disease.
Yesterday, Hadid finally made a triumphant return to horseback riding, which she shared on Instagram.
She wrote, "Got to hack this beautiful baby girl today!!!! ❤️🐎 My one and greatest passion will always be horses and now I am back! with my heart re-filled with love and so much happiness..😍💪🏼❤️."
As the video proves, Hadid is still as confident as ever on a horse, and savors her time riding.
