The wet hair look

If only one could be chosen, it should undoubtely be this one here. Whether it be lightly sprayed hair or an all-round wet look, one thing is certain: the wet look is dominating like never before! All you have to do is pick from two options seen at shows: flattened and slicked-down for an ultra-chic look or dishevelled and rebellious for a grunge egde.

XXL waves

Already spotted on Fall/Winter 2017-2018 runways, the ultra-long hair trend is bound to be omnipresent at Spring/Summer 2018 shows, just more extreme by surpasseing mid-length. A beach-breeze look is the must-have for chic nonchalance.

The tomboy haircut

On the other hand, the short pixie-style haircut is back this season with all guns blazing, led by Tom FordMoschino and Balenciaga shows. It plays with trompe l’oeil by bringing the hair over to the front, or by simply being cut by hairstylists. This boyish look has affirmed itself as a statement trend.

Curls

Think 3000 watts-style overcharged waves, wild manes and energy-filled curls that definitely steal the show.

The headband

Even in its simplest form, the headband is set to prevail next summer. The ones to opt for are mono black or white to truly get into the sports character given to you by show hairstylists.

The neo-fringe

From retro to edgy and colorful, hairstylists took pleasure in revisiting the classic fringe for a bold statement look.

The wrapped ponytail

All hairdressers are opting for a ponytail boost with a statement accessory. The result is hair housed inside thread, in a plexiglass tube or on a grey print scarf. So edgy, so chic!

Regressive accessories

The idea here is to place multiple children’s toys in the hair. From teddy bears, to pearls and little cars, everything is allowed, just be daring enough!

Scattered strands of hair

The wet-look trend has been revamped with strands of hair portruding over models’ faces, as if they have just come out from diving in the water. This is what happens when the grunge spirit dictates summer codes.
