Gucci and Maxfield host an exclusive cocktail event to celebrate the Gucci Décor collaboration.
Gucci Décor has officially arrived to Maxfield on Melrose Avenue. The famed Italian fashion house’s décor line will be sold exclusively at the Los Angeles store throughout the holidays.
The collection, which features an array of uniquely colored, fanciful pieces, includes five wallpapers, decorative folding screens, a jacquard vanity seat, wooden chairs, and velvet cushions. To celebrate the limited collaboration between Gucci and the West Coast retailer, the two brands hosted a cocktail event at the flagship store where guests were invited to explore the diverse collection and marvel at the coinciding installation at the Jean Prouvé glass house.
The special installation beautifully displays Gucci’s distinct design aesthetic and knack for combining vivacious hues and bold patterns. In addition to housing the décor line, Maxfield will also be selling a selection of vintage furniture pieces from founder Tommy Perse’s vast personal collection, along with a range of clothing and accessories from the house.
