And it’s so pretty it hurts (as expected)
In 2016, it was all about the Textured Shadows Rose Gold palette, and 2017 is the year Huda Kattan launches her second eyeshadow palette – and predictably, it’s amazing.
As expected, when Huda Beauty unveiled the shades of her new ‘Desert Dusk’ palette last night, her fans went absolutely wild. And we don’t blame them.
Huda had already teased the new addition on Instagram, but we had yet to see the amazing colours – until now.
Similar to the rose gold edition, the palette has 18 shades and features a range of hues in four different finishes: Matte, Pearl, Chrome Topper and one Pure Glitter. The colours look insanely beautiful, with a range of nudes, reds, browns, pinks and purples all included. Huda’s personal favourites? Nefertiti (a sparkling gold) and Celestial (a shimmering gold and pink).
Desert Dusk is inspired by the colours Huda sees around her everyday in Dubai, where she lives. From deep sunsets to golden sands, the palette is like a journey through the Middle East – a concept only solidified further when you browse the names of the shades (Saffron, Amber and Turkish Delight, to name a few).
Speaking about the upcoming release, Huda commented: “I knew it would be hard to follow the success of our Rose Gold Palette, so I had to replace it with something phenomenal… We combined so many versatile shades and used highly-pigmented shadows that can be layered to create a vast array of looks”.
Desert Dusk will be available to buy globally on 18 September on shophudabeauty.com and will cost £56.
We’re marking our calendars…
