The Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino has officially arrived in stores. (Don’t ask us what flavor that means, though, unless you count pink as a flavor, in which case, pink). The #unicornfrappuccino hashtag on Instagram now wields about 650 posts, though it looks like only some stores have it now, while others might offer them later this week, for a very limited time. Click the hashtag for more photos of the Lisa Frankian beverage, and then head to your local Starbucks to try it (and Instagram it) for yourself.
As of this morning, Starbucks has not officially confirmed that the drink is real, though a spokesperson told Bon Appétit in an email, “We’re still working our Frappuccino magic and don’t have any details to share at this time.”
Last week rumors stirred when several people got their hands on the top-secret ingredients that will make up the alleged beverage, and they posted photos of them in the Starbucks subreddit. A user by the name of outside_the_madness shared a behind-the-scenes shot of a bag filled with “pink powder” that says it should not be opened until April 17. Another user named hellabummed posted a photo of a saltshaker filled with tiny blue crystals and labeled “unicorn dust.” The post is titled “Unicorn frapp topping 💙.” The same user also shared a photo of the drink, which is pink, topped with whipped cream, and dusted with the blue “unicorn dust.”

Visiting the #unicornfrappuccino hashtag on Instagram brings up recent shots of superfans who got their hands on the drink and posed in front of the nearest brick wall ASAP. In a few you can see shots of posters in stores that read “The Unicorn Frappuccino blended beverage…Only available if you believe,” noting that a grande cup of the drink will go for $4.75. The Instagram account for a Starbucks store in the Gulf View Square Mall in Port Richey, Florida, shared an image announcing that the drink will be dropping at the store on April 19.
