The Bag Brand That’s Become The Fashion Set’s New Obsession

wandler-1512075886

Wandler preceeds itself: Before I'd even seen any product from the bag brand, no less than four people had told me how "obsessed" I'd be with them. Designer Elza Wandler, who launched the brand in 2017, hails from south Netherlands, currently resides in Amsterdam, and has her bags made in Italy—so yes, anyone who really knows my simple yet polished style, would be correct to guess I'd love Wandler bags. But anyone who knows me also knows I can be a bit stubborn, so I had a very "I'll be the judge of that!" mentality about the whole thing.
When the bags finally landed on Net-a-Porter, I had to give it to everyone: I'm obsessed. Clean lines? Luxe leather? No-frills colorways? Hell yeah, sign me up!

19425188_226383821205170_665106107038957568_n

It’s never been available in American stores before!

We’ve long been fans of UK-based beauty brand The Ordinary, the affordable-yet-high-end skin-care brand that blesses our complexions with products such as Serum Foundation ($6.70!) and a range of antioxidants, facial oils, and more, all ranging from $4.90 to $14.80. However, we’ve never been able to access it anywhere, but its own website—that is, until now. Starting on December 20, Sephora stores will begin carrying the brand (except for its foundation and a few other product *sigh*) online, with plans for it to hit brick-and-mortar stores by March. It also plans to carry another brand under The Ordinary’s parent company, Deciem: the not-yet-released Abnomoly, which will offer beauty oddities such as hyaluronic acid mouthwash, mints, ointments, and gold paint. Intriguing! As the...

The shirt will go on sale on Dec. 1—World AIDS Day—and will retail for $55 on marcjacobs.com and in stores.
The British supermodel first came up with the idea after attending a World AIDS Day event at the U.N. last year, and called Jacobs to see if he would be interested in collaborating.
“Marc being Marc—he’s an amazing, loyal friend for 31 years—said, ‘Absolutely, I want to do this,'" Campbell said.

In a time when even the smallest action can feel political, many artists are having to decide whether to make work that's responsive to our current environment or separated from it entirely -- and if the latter's even possible. With his newest album, War & Leisure, Miguel finds himself negotiating this challenge and making music that addresses the surreal realities of our age, where our social media feeds depict the all-out pursuit of pleasure while our headlines warn us of nuclear annihilation. Aja Naomi King Is a New L’Oreal Paris Spokesperson

elle-aja-naomi-king-new-loreal-1512061216
A beauty guru, murderer, and law student walk into a bar. The punchline is that it’s just one person: Aja Naomi King, who plays Michaela Pratt on ABC's How To Get Away With Murder. Yes, she’s an actress who makes up one fraction of the fictitious law student group that seems to keep accidentally committing those doggone murders with the help of Viola Davis’ character Annalise Keating, but she also knows a thing or two about beauty. To put it in 2017 terms, if she decided to give up acting and start a YouTube channel, we would all be scrolling down to like and subscribe. “I’ve loved makeup for such a long time,” explains King. “I really got into it because...
